Anything that can send an HTTP request or an email can reach PagerDeck. These are the tested setups.
PagerDeck accepts alerts three ways: POST /v1/push with JSON, the Pushover-compatible route /1/messages.json and, in the Business and Team plans, one email inbox per source. Every guide also says what does not work.
Uptime Kuma reports an outage via webhook. PagerDeck uses your rules to decide whether your phone rings.
Notification Type: Webhook
Post URL: https://api.pagerdeck.com/v1/push
Request Body: Custom Body{
"title": {{ msg | truncate: 60 | json }},
"body": {{ msg | json }},
"severity": "{% if heartbeatJSON.status == 1 %}info{% else %}error{% endif %}",
"tags": ["uptime-kuma"]
}Webhook and HTTP5 steps
One webhook contact point is enough. Grafana sends its default format, PagerDeck reads the title, urgency and links itself, and your rules decide how loud it gets.
Webhook and HTTP3 steps
Alertmanager sends its own JSON, and PagerDeck understands it directly. You only enter a URL and the ingest key.
Webhook and HTTP3 steps
The system calls PagerDeck over HTTPS.
A media type to import. Problem and recovery stay one incident, and the recovery closes it.
One rest_command, and every automation can trigger PagerDeck. You decide in one place how loud each alert arrives.
One HTTP request with JSON. No SDK, no library, and the all-clear does not cost you an alert.
The device sends a mail to one address per source.
NAS, UPS, backup software: every source gets its own address. The email becomes an alert that runs through your rules.
A job or script calls the API with curl.
One extra step with if: failure() is enough. The key stays in a secret, and jq builds the payload.
A wrapper script checks the exit code. If something goes wrong, the last output reaches you as an alert.
Why PagerDeck: You decide which alerts wake you at night. Not the system that sends them.
